What is Applied Agents?
Applied Agents is an AI automation agency that treats repeatable workflows as the default and AI agents as the exception.
On a 10 to 200 person team, most weekly work follows the same steps, and a workflow handles it more cheaply and more reliably than an agent would, so we build:
- Workflows on n8n, Make or Zapier for the steps that never vary.
- AI steps and agents on Claude, OpenAI or OpenClaw, used only where a step calls for judgment, such as reading a request or drafting a reply.
- Custom MCP servers when an AI tool has to reach your own systems safely.
Each build runs in your own accounts and comes with documentation. Applied Agents is vendor independent: it holds no partnership with Anthropic, OpenAI or OpenClaw, and their names remain the property of their owners.
What does Applied Agents build?
Applied Agents builds six types of systems, and each one carries a fixed quote set after a $1,500 audit.
- AI sales and CRM automation: from lead routing and enrichment to AI scoring and CRM updates.
- AI document processing: structured data extracted from invoices, contracts and forms.
- AI agents across sales, support and documents, with a person signing off on whatever goes out.
- Claude agents, plus Claude itself configured for business teams.
- OpenClaw setup on your own server, permissions and training included.
- Custom MCP servers that wire AI tools into your CRM, documents and internal systems.
Who founded Applied Agents?
Rez Karim and Irfan Sadek founded Applied Agents, and the two also built Unsora, a toolkit that ChatGPT, Claude, OpenClaw and other AI agents connect to over MCP, now used by 115,000+ creators and marketers.

Rez Karim
Co-founderRez started out building mobile apps, then crossed over into marketing, writing copy for a digital marketing agency before rising to head of marketing. Along the way he co-founded a Web3 agency, ran it, and shipped six SaaS products. These days he writes on prompt engineering and AI for 38,000 X followers and 7,000+ newsletter subscribers.

Irfan Sadek
Co-founderIrfan is a software developer and indie hacker working in Node.js, React, Next.js and REST APIs, building AI agents and shipping his products in public. His products include FindMeLeads, AI lead generation for sales teams; Re-engage, which repurposes videos and articles as X and LinkedIn posts; and Krillion, an AI ad generator. Alongside those, he runs 21st Tools, a curated directory of tools built by makers.
What do the founders bring to your automation?
The founders bring live production experience to your automation: they run their own AI products, and the agency builds what it already operates.
- An MCP server running in production. One MCP endpoint connects Unsora to ChatGPT, Claude, OpenClaw and Hermes. That same engineering sits behind our custom MCP servers.
- Sales tooling we built ourselves. FindMeLeads, the AI lead generation product Irfan built for sales teams, is the foundation under our sales automation.
- A marketing operator's perspective. Rez has led marketing as both a head of marketing and an agency co-founder, so builds start from the hours a team loses each week, before tools enter the picture.
How does an Applied Agents project work?
Each project moves from a 30-minute call to a live workflow in about three weeks, at a fixed price.
- Day 1, scoping call: 30 minutes spent on the tasks your team repeats every week and the tools behind them.
- Week 1, audit and fixed quote: we map your workflows, order them by hours saved and price each build.
- Weeks 2–3, build: built on n8n, Make or Zapier, tested against your real data, with AI steps added where the work calls for judgment.
- Hand-over and monthly plan: the documentation is yours; an optional monthly plan covers monitoring, fixes and new workflows.
An AI agent project takes 4–6 weeks, running from audit to a supervised agent working live.
